Job summary

You will design, analyze, and document structural solutions for advanced technologies facilities, leading junior engineers and coordinating with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree is required.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Experience in seismic design and structural analysis.
• Proficiency with structural engineering software packages listed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and construction documents for new structures and upgrades as part of an integrated A/E team.
• Define facility requirements with project managers for advanced technologies projects.
• Oversee work of junior engineers and designers.
• Analyze concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures with seismic emphasis.
• Produce calculations, drawings, specs, and reports with quality checks.
• Mentor junior staff and guide design changes as needed.
• Engage in field work including as-builts, retrofits, and client interactions.
