Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in structural building design.
- Master's degree in structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- Seismic design experience is preferred.
- US Building Codes knowledge.
- Experience with BIM tools.
- Willingness to learn Rhino/Grasshopper.
- Team-oriented with strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify detailed structural designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead project development and deliverables with the team.
- Review work to meet quality and schedule expectations.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Create 3D models using RAM, SAP, ETABS, and SAFE.
- Manage project resourcing and expenditures.
- Participate in client meetings and design team discussions.
