Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support national security missions, focusing on hardened and protective facilities. You will analyze and model complex structures, evaluate blast resistance, and integrate geotechnical and intelligence data to inform senior leadership decisions.

The role requires leadership in ambiguous environments, attention to detail, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including government and contractor personnel.

Qualifications

• Must have in-scope TS/SCI Polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Protective Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years experience (or 6+ with master's) in relevant engineering fields.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced structural engineering analysis, modeling, and evaluation of buildings and underground facilities.
• Assess blast resistance, damage tolerance, durability, dynamic loading, and overall capacity.
• Integrate intelligence, geotechnical and topographical data to characterize facilities and vulnerabilities.
