Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a Senior Structural Engineer/Project Lead to join the South Bend area team. Lead projects from proposal through design, take technical ownership, and sign/seal engineering work across multiple materials.

Hybrid work options exist with relocation assistance possible. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of structural design experience, a PE license, and the ability to manage 6–10 active projects while communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of structural engineering/design experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience independently leading structural projects.
• Ability and willingness to sign and seal engineering work.
• Strong understanding of structural behavior across materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from initial proposal through design and completion.
• Take technical ownership of projects and sign/seal engineering work.
• Perform structural analysis and design across steel, concrete, masonry, wood, composites, and alternative materials.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers.
• Review calculations, drawings, reports, and technical deliverables.
