Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8 years related experience in civil/structural engineering.
• PE license preferred in at least one state.
• Design, repair, and/or maintenance practices for power plant equipment.
• Familiarity with regulatory and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain structural inspection programs for fossil/renewables fleets.
• incorporate personnel and public safety in plans and designs.
• Prepare reports, sketches, and design recommendations for complex issues.
• Manage engineering contractor relationships effectively.
• Ensure designs comply with sound engineering practices and codes.
• Provide cost and schedule estimates for inspections and repairs.
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
