Job summary

IDOM USA seeks a senior structural engineer/project manager for industrial sector projects in Atlanta. The role blends hands-on design with project leadership and client coordination, with some travel and remote working days.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET), 8+ years in industrial design or PM, and knowledge of ASCE 7/IBC/AISC/ACI. PE license preferred; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited University or equal.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with industrial structural design and/or project management.
• Thorough knowledge and familiarity in using relevant codes and standards, such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform engineering calculations, prepare specifications and technical reports, develop design details and communicate same to others.
• Maintain project schedule, scope, profitability, and other project management functions.
• Assist business development efforts by applying technical knowledge to identify and understand client needs and define scope of work requirements to support proposals.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments for multi-discipline projects
• Maintain and expand client relationships
