Casper, Phillips & Associates (CP&A) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for an on-site, full-time role in Tacoma, WA. You will perform structural calculations, analyses, and develop engineering solutions while collaborating with engineers, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements include a BSCE with structures emphasis, Civil PE License, and Finite Element Analysis experience; proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor; knowledge of AISC, bolted/welded

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• Civil PE License (any State).
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis.
• AutoCAD or Inventor proficiency.
• Excellent command of the English language with above-average verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of AISC Steel Construction Manual.
• Experience analyzing bolted and welded connections.
• Must be able to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Job description

Casper, Phillips & Associates (CP&A) offers a comprehensive range of services including procurement, specification, design, design review, manufacturing review, voyage bracing, modifications and rehabilitation, accident investigation and repair, and condition surveys. With extensive experience in crane and material handling equipment design dating back to the 1960s, CP&A provides fast, efficient, and dependable service.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer located in Tacoma, WA. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural calculations, conducting structural analysis, and providing engineering solutions. Responsibilities also include designing structures, reviewing designs, and preparing technical reports. The role requires collaboration with other engineers, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Role Description

Base Salary will depend on qualifications.

Licensed PE: $90,000 - $125,000

Licensed SE: $110,000 - $150,000
