Job summary
DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC is seeking an experienced civil/structural engineer to enhance our Development Division. The role involves coordinating all project aspects beyond structural work, acting as engineer of record as needed, and interacting with clients during design and construction.
The position is full-time and exempt, with travel as needed and a focus on expanding our multi-disciplinary capabilities in the local market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Act as engineer of record in responsible charge of structural projects.
- Perform and oversee structural design and plan production; coordinate with staff engineers and CAD technicians.
- Collaborate with Project Manager to communicate with clients during initiation, design, and construction phases.
- Coordinate with outside engineers and architects; review shop drawings and RFIs; respond to construction questions.
- Contribute to DGL standards and procedures for project delivery and client experience.
- Engage in client and technical organization meetings to develop relationships and opportunities in the local market.
