ACS Professional Staffing represents a respected architecture and engineering firm seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with a PE License to lead design teams in Vancouver, WA. The role covers diverse projects from offices to multifamily and retail, with occasional site travel.

Requirements include 5+ years post-graduation experience, PE license (SE a plus), and proficiency with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures, plus strong codes knowledge and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-graduate structural design experience.
• Structural PE required; SE designation is a plus.
• Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design staff through design and construction phases.
• Identify and solve constructible design problems.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team to develop structural concepts, drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with external suppliers, internal design teams, and manufacturers.
• Ensure designs meet company quality standards.
• Use software to calculate gravity, lateral and foundation loads.
• Respond to contractors during construction.
