Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in the Greater Milwaukee Area. This role focuses on leading structural design and analysis for diverse projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of structural engineering experience, is a licensed PE, and holds a Civil or Structural Engineering degree (Masters preferred). Proficiency in RISA, SAP2000, ETABS, and knowledge of major building codes is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years of structural engineering experience in the construction industry.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar).
Strong knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and other relevant building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Review, stamp, and take responsibility for structural drawings and calculations.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors throughout all project phases.
Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and ensure compliance with design intent.
Identify and resolve structural challenges proactively to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
