ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) for a Vancouver, WA position. Lead structural design staff through design and construction phases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver constructible solutions.

Requirements include 5+ years post-graduation experience, PE license (SE a plus), and proficiency with Rev it, Enercalc, RISA, and Woodworks. Occasional travel for site visits and meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-graduation structural design experience.
• Structural Professional Engineer (PE) license; SE designation a plus.
• Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry building systems.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Revit and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design staff through design and construction phases.
• Identify and solve problems with constructable solutions.
• Coordinate with external suppliers, internal teams, and manufacturers.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards.
• Calculate gravity, lateral, and foundation loads using software.
• Respond to contractors during construction.
