Job summary

FOCUS Consulting in Midvale, UT, is seeking a Structural PE / EIT / Staff Engineer to design safe and efficient structures. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to deliver high-quality structural systems, from concept through permit-ready drawings.

You should bring a civil engineering degree with a structural focus and be open to EIT/PE licensure. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Completed civil engineering degree with an emphasis in structural engineering.
Experience in structural engineering is a bonus.
EIT status or PE licensure is a bonus.
Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication with leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

Produce engineering designs using CAD and other design programs to high quality.
Coordinate with PMs and engineers on designs for infrastructure and site work.
Ensure designs meet municipal codes and project requirements.
Follow QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy and project success.
Support clients and team to navigate structural design challenges.
