Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a part-time, temp role in the MA/NH region. The candidate will support planning, analysis, and design of diverse structural projects and may work remotely within MA/RI/NH with travel to client sites as needed.

The role calls for extensive structural engineering knowledge, strong technical writing, and the ability to lead and mentor others while managing design tasks and schedules in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years of professional experience in structural bridge and building design, including construction phasing and complex projects.
• BS in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
• PE licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Support structural planning, analysis, and design documentation.
• Task management and coordination of design work.
• Review plans and analyses to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
