Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Princeton, NJ office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Parking Structures team. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include leading projects, producing complete structural drawings and specs, mentoring EITs, performing design calculations, and coordinating with clients and design teams to deliver high-quality parking structure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Experience with structural analysis/design software (STAAD, RAM, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT).

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and leadership of projects.
• Develop full sets of structural drawings and specifications without guidance.
• Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training in structural engineering.
• Perform design calculations, plan production, and submittal packages with quality control.
• Lead construction-phase efforts on building projects.
• Support meetings with clients, contractors, and design team members.
• Identify project opportunities through networking with clients.
