Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated structural engineering experience.
• PE licensed or actively pursuing licensure.
• Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS or RISA-3D.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis for nuclear, hazardous waste remediation, and commercial projects.
• Ensure compliance with AISC, ASCE, ACI, IBC codes.
• Conduct structural calculations for load combinations and contracts.
• Design lifting fixtures and tooling for fabrication.
• Coordinate with designers and oversee deliverables.
• Maintain configuration control of drawings and documents.
• Communicate status and challenges to stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Review project deliverables for compliance.
