Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineer on-site in Orlando, FL to support a defense-related facility program. You will provide structural engineering expertise for large-scale mechanical and facility projects and act as a technical leader across engineering teams.

Requirements include 10+ years in structural engineering, an active PE license, and a degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with large-scale mechanical/industrial or energy-related structures.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with structural analysis, design, and final sign-off of complex structures.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with structural focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural analysis, design review, and technical oversight for large mechanical structures and facility systems.
• Support projects involving industrial, maritime, energy, and defense infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide engineering personnel across multiple teams.
