Job summary

Cementation USA is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer based in Sandy, Utah. This role involves performing structural analysis and design for complex mining projects while ensuring compliance with various codes. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at least 10 years of experience, and knowledge of structural systems.

Responsibilities include collaboration with design teams, mentoring, and supporting project management, as well as ensuring project schedules and budgets are met. Licensure in multiple states is necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed Engineer in the States of Utah and California or can obtain.
• Previous relevant work experience in underground mining or heavy industrial infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of mine facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for designs.
• Participate in Design Reviews and Risk Assessments.
• Develop positive relationships with internal teams.
