Nucor Buildings Group West LLC is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to design safe, economical metal building systems and ensure compliance with codes. You will perform frame, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analyses using our proprietary software and collaborate with detailing teams to deliver accurate drawings.

The role is based in Brigham City, UT, with in-office training and a hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence several days per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Strong knowledge of structural building codes (IBC, ASCE7, AISI, etc.).
• US Professional Engineer registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe and economical structures meeting project requirements and codes.
• Use proprietary software for frame, secondary, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analyses.
• Collaborate with detailing department to communicate design requirements and ensure project success.
• Review and check structural drawings for accuracy.
