Job summary

1st St. NW Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design of mechanized structural systems. You will contribute to conceptual and detailed design, calculations, drawings, and coordinate shop and field inspections.

The role requires a strong background in civil/structural or aerospace engineering, with 5+ years of experience and professional registration encouraged. Location is on-site with direct-hire consideration and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil/Structural or Aerospace Engineering (M.S. a plus).
• Experience with design, installation, and commissioning of mechanized structural systems.
• P.E. and/or S.E. registration encouraged.
• 3D Modeling and FEA software experience.
• Project engineering experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual structural design.
• Detailed design development utilizing structural methods, software, building codes and client specifications.
• Structural calculation and drawing production.
• Shop and field structural inspections.
