Job summary

Visionaire Partners is seeking a licensed PE Structural Engineer for our mechanical and industrial systems team in the Atlanta area. You will design, review, and seal industrial structures, pipe supports, and equipment frames for complex MEP projects.

You will collaborate with fabricators, field crews, and project leads to ensure constructible, code-compliant solutions while maintaining schedules and budgets. Hybrid work is available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial, MEP, or pipe support infrastructure.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with IBC, ASCE 7, and related design standards.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and seal calculations/details for modular skids, equipment frames, and packaged utility systems.
• Design robust pipe support structures accounting for thermal, gravity, lateral, and dynamic forces.
• Perform wind load analyses and engineer seismic/wind restraint systems for MEP equipment, ductwork, and outdoor assemblies.
• Review delegated design submittals, shop drawings, and vendor packages for structural integrity.
• Maintain full compliance with relevant codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, SMACNA, MSS).
• Partner with shop fabricators, superintendents, and project leads to resolve field challenges quickly.
• Standardize design details to improve constructability, shorten timelines, and minimize project risk.

A premier regional contractor is hiring a licensed Structural Engineer to drive safe, code-compliant, and constructible design solutions for complex mechanical, piping, and equipment support systems.
