KPFF Consulting Engineers in Lexington, KY seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of structural projects from concept through construction. You will establish and maintain client relationships, mentor engineers and BIM professionals, and collaborate with KPFF's national team to deliver technical excellence.

Qualifications

• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects.
• Strong background in project management and client interaction with owners and contractors.
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM, and RISA 3D; knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC standards.
• Collaborative mindset with leadership, mentorship, and business growth; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept to construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budgets, and resources; mentor engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Oversee calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports; ensure code compliance.
• Contribute to structural assessments, feasibility studies, and site investigations as needed.
• Foster a mentorship‑driven culture focused on technical excellence and growth.
