Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year university.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience (20+ years preferred for senior-level candidates).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or eligible by comity in the hiring state.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of structural systems and design processes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all structural engineering aspects of projects, ensuring codes and client requirements are met.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and business professionals to develop integrated design solutions.
• Guide team members to produce construction documents, including plans and specifications.
• Perform structural analysis and develop design calculations to support project objectives.
• Prepare engineering studies and detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop construction cost estimates and validate against benchmarks.
• Manage project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Develop structural engineering fee proposals and contracts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support project success and firm growth.
• Mentor and direct junior engineers and BIM staff.
