Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of diverse projects, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with PE license (SE preferred), 8+ years of building-design experience, and strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and masonry. Proficiency in RevIT and structural analysis software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Active PE license (SE preferred).
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience in building design.
• Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and masonry design for low‑to‑mid‑rise structures.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RISA, RAM, Tekla Structural Designer, Enercalc, or similar.
• Project management experience and excellent communication skills are required; Revit and client management experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for a diverse portfolio of building projects.
• Oversee design calculations, construction documents, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and site observations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality projects.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Mentor, develop, and lead junior engineers while contributing to project management and client relationships.
