Job summary
Brown + Kubican in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of building structures. You will mentor junior engineers, prepare construction documents, and collaborate with architects, owners and contractors across diverse projects.
A BS in Structural Engineering, a PE license, 12+ years of experience, and fluency with RAM or RISA and REVIT are required. Proficiency in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design is expected; you will apply sound engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural Engineering
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in the design of building structures
- Professional Engineer Registration
- Bonuses: Masters, SE license.
- Engineering design skills in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Familiar with design codes
- Experience in production of construction documents (drawings and specifications)
- Versed in RAM or RISA analysis software
- Fluent in REVIT
