Job summary

Career Collective is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead multi-discipline projects in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. You will drive design excellence, coordinate teams, and ensure quality and schedule adherence across complex assignments.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and a PE/SE license with 8+ years of experience, plus strong client interaction and BIM software familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• PE or SE licensure with 8+ years of practical experience is required.
• Experience on Industrial and Manufacturing building projects is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of BIM collaboration platforms (ACC/BIM360, Bluebeam, Navisworks).
• Thorough understanding of US codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC 341, IBC).
• Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
• Experience with multi-discipline coordination, review processes, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Apply intensive and diversified engineering knowledge across broad assignment areas.
• Decide independently on engineering problems and refine design solutions; may stamp/seal drawings as appropriate.
• Represent the firm in meetings to plan and coordinate projects.
• Plan, develop, and direct medium to large projects with budget, schedule, and quality control responsibilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in structural engineering principles and software use.
• Engage in client contact and business development activities.
• Support seismic design considerations and code-required durability and load-path analyses.
