You will mentor junior engineers, liaise with clients and drive high-quality design solutions from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a UK structural consultancy environment.
• Strong experience designing structures using steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of a wide range of projects from concept through to construction.
• Undertake detailed design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors and other design team members.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Attend project and site meetings.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
