Qualifications

• Experience delivering building structures within a UK consultancy.
• Proficient in structural design using steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Experience with UK-practice structural analysis and design software.
• Ability to prepare design calculations and assist with reports/drawings.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to develop as a structural engineer.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng).
• Working toward chartership with IStructE or ICE.

We’re currently representing a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy in Gloucester that is expanding their Structures team. Off the back of a consistently strong workload and continued client demand, the business is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of building projects.

The successful Structural Engineer will join an established and supportive team working across commercial, industrial, retail, public sector and residential schemes. You’ll be involved in structural design from early‑stage feasibility through to construction, working alongside senior engineers and technicians while gaining hands‑on exposure to a wide range of building forms and materials. This is a role that offers genuine responsibility, variety and the opportunity to steadily grow your technical capability within a collaborative consultancy environment.

My client is looking for a motivated Structural Engineer who can contribute to project delivery, produce sound structural designs and calculations, and continue developing under the guidance of experienced senior engineers.
