Job summary

DLR Group in Phoenix seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design of structural systems for buildings across sectors. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with architects, and manage schedules and budgets using Revit and structural software.

The role requires PE licensure, 7+ years of experience, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to deliver integrated designs across the US. Will involve supporting California discipline operations and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of structural systems from concept through construction.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Develop work plans, project schedules, budgets, and proposals in collaboration with leadership.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs and participate in O/A/C meetings.
• Promote best-practices for workflow and technical standards across the practice.
• Support business development through RFPs and client engagement.
• Contribute to the California Structural Discipline operations.
