Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in buildings and special structures.
• Active SE license and experience serving as Engineer of Record.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design standards; proficient in design and analysis.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills; mentoring engineers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for new construction and renovation projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Serve as Engineer of Record, reviewing and stamping drawings and calculations with high-quality documentation.
• Act as primary technical contact for architecture firms, owners, and developers, managing communication and coordination.
• Perform forensic engineering, existing-building evaluations, and condition assessments as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight, quality control, and support for scope, schedules, and budgets.
