Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is assisting a leading U.S. engineering consultancy in Baltimore, MD, to hire an experienced structural engineer to lead complex projects and mentor design teams.

You will direct design activities for steel, concrete, and masonry structures across commercial, institutional, industrial, and federal clients, while coordinating with architects and contractors and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed PE required (or ability to obtain).
• 8+ years of structural design and project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee design work from concept through completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to junior staff.
