Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC represents a leading U.S. engineering consultancy seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead complex projects and mentor design teams in Baltimore, MD.

You’ll work on steel, concrete, and masonry structures for commercial, institutional, industrial, and federal clients. You will direct design work from concept to completion, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and in-house teams while providing guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license required or structurally equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in structural design and project leadership.
• Proficiency with Office and AutoCAD; experience with structural software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee design work from concept through completion.
• Lead project teams, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and in-house engineering teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
