Job summary

Revive HQ Inc. is seeking an in-house Structural Engineer in Irvine, CA to own projects from feasibility through construction. You will work closely with architects, PMs, and builders to balance safety, cost, and constructability while delivering stamp-ready documents.

You will assess hillside, coastal, and complex site constraints, sign and stamp within your CA license, and help establish scalable engineering standards for rapid, profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Active California PE or SE license with stamping authority.
• Minimum 3 years in residential structural engineering.
• Strong experience with wood-frame, podium, and concrete systems.
• Solid knowledge of California Building Code and seismic design.
• Experience delivering permit-ready drawings and specs.
• Experience on ground-up residential/multi-family projects.

Responsibilities

• Own structural engineering across ground-up residential and mixed-use projects.
• Develop designs, calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
• Independently sign and stamp work within CA licensure.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and builders to drive projects forward.
• Identify structural constraints early to ensure financial viability.
• Evaluate framing systems for constructability and cost efficiency.
• Address plan checks, RFIs, and field condition challenges.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid conflicts.
