Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with extensive structural engineering experience.
• PE licensure required for the role.
• Knowledge of building codes for agricultural applications is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute project concepts and detailed drawings.
• Ensure compliance with IBC/ASCE 7/AISC standards.
• Calculate loads and stresses and assess member safety.
• Coordinate design with designer/drafter for final manufacture.
• Mentor EITs in structural engineering.
• Triage manufacturing issues and propose repairs.
