Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license in Florida.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on large federal projects.
• Experience with coastal projects and high wind loads.
• Experience with RMS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with federal facilities including administrative and airfield facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional structural engineering and construction management support; leads contractor projects.
• Serves as SME for structural engineering standards and foundation analysis.
• Participates in design reviews; comments on contractor designs and plans.
• Provides QA oversight and documents actions for high-quality contractor performance.
• Provides safety oversight and directs corrective actions to ensure public safety.
• Interprets and enforces contractual provisions; documents contractor progress.
• Recommends authorization of progress payments based on contract progress.
