Job summary

Fluidstack in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design for cutting-edge data centers, from site screening through construction completion. You will collaborate with civil, geotech, and MEP teams and manage external engineers through IFC.

You will read geotechnical reports, translate soil and seismic data into actionable design decisions, and help scale modular data center concepts while controlling cost and constructability risk.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural design for large facilities or data centers.
• PE license or active pursuit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the structural workstream across multi-site data center developments from site screening through design, permitting, and construction.
• Review geotechnical reports and translate soil and seismic data into design actions.
• Coordinate with civil, geotech, and MEP teams; manage external engineers of record through IFC.
• Develop and maintain structural basis of design, standard details, specs.
