Job summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in hyperscale and colocation data center design. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in concrete and steel structures, demonstrating experience in fast-paced technology projects. This role offers remote work flexibility while engaging with global teams on significant projects.
Primary responsibilities include leading structural designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Candidates must have at least 8 years of professional experience and be a licensed U.S. Professional Engineer.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in building structures design and analysis.
- Licensed U.S. Professional Engineer (PE or SE).
- Experience with data center facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform structural design and analysis for multiple data center buildings.
- Develop design documentation for tilt-up concrete panels and precast structures.
- Coordinate design deliverables with project teams.
