STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES in Chicago seeks an Experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to design and assess repair solutions, supporting industrial and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineers, drafters, project managers, and clients to translate investigations into practical repair strategies.

The role requires 4–10 years of experience, knowledge of structural codes, and proficiency with design software. Travel for site visits is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 4–10 years of related structural engineering experience.
• PE license strongly preferred and required for higher-level consideration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing structures for deterioration and compliance with codes.
• Develop repair concepts for concrete and steel structures used in industrial and infrastructure settings.
• Prepare and review calculations, sketches, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Perform structural analysis using hand methods and software.
• Coordinate with construction teams to integrate repair solutions.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and document findings.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
