AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for cast-in-place concrete construction in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

You will review drawings, provide technical guidance on foundations, formwork, rebar, and sequencing, and collaborate with PMs, field teams, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a Civil/Structural engineering degree and contractor-side concrete experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Contractor-side structural concrete construction experience.
• Hands-on experience with cast-in-place concrete including foundations, superstructures, formwork, rebar, concrete placement and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural plans.
• Experience with concrete construction means and field operations.
• Experience collaborating with project management, field teams, and contractors.

Responsabilités

• Review structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents for constructability, scope, sequencing, discrepancies, conflicts, and missing information.
• Provide technical guidance for cast-in-place structural concrete construction, including foundations, concrete superstructures, slabs, formwork, reinforcing steel/rebar, concrete placement, and construction sequencing.
• Identify design and field conditions that could affect production, schedule, cost, construction means and methods, or field execution.
• Work directly with project managers, superintendents, field personnel, general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and construction trades to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Support project teams in evaluating concrete construction means and methods, sequencing, logistics, constructability, and field execution.
• Review project documents to identify potential constructability issues and conflicts before they affect field operations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide construction-focused engineering input related to structural concrete work.
• Support projects throughout the construction lifecycle, including preconstruction planning, field execution, and project completion.
• Translate engineering and design documents into practical requirements for concrete construction operations.
