Job summary

RESPEC in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Senior Engineer / Business Development (Structural) to join our engineering team. This role blends strategic business development with senior engineering and involves client-facing conversations while managing multiple projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with a Structural focus, a PE license, and 10–15+ years of progressive structural experience, plus demonstrated leadership and client/presentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited, licensed program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or actively pursuing licensure.
10–15+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
Experience leading a team of engineers and presenting to clients/boards.

Responsibilities

Develop, build, and manage relationships with strategic partners and customers to create a project pipeline.
Maintain current client relationships and pursue continued joint project opportunities.
Identify pursuits and position market sectors to secure new business in existing and new markets.
Collaborate with internal market sectors to develop joint pursuits and cross-sell to clients.
Other duties as assigned commensurate with a senior engineer role.
