Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer / Business Development (Structural) to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves strategic business development and senior engineering responsibilities. You will develop relationships with partners, manage client engagements, and identify new market opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a Professional Engineer License, and 10 - 15+ years of relevant experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including participation in their Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution, with focus on Structural Design.
• Professional Civil Engineer License.
• Experience leading strategic business development initiatives in a structural engineering firm.
• 10 - 15+ years of progressive structural engineering practice.
• Experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
• Experience presenting engineering-related items to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and manage relationships with strategic partners and customers.
• Maintain current client relationships and facilitate project opportunities.
• Identify pursuits and secure new business in existing and new markets.
• Work with other internal market sectors to develop joint pursuits.
• Other duties as assigned.
