Mace, based in the tri-state area, seeks a senior civil/structural engineer to oversee field surveys, review designs for bridges and related structures, and provide construction support on the Hudson Tunnel Project.

Must hold a BS in civil engineering, 10–15 years of experience, and PE licensure in NJ/NY; familiarity with AREMA, AASHTO, IBC; strong communication; hybrid work options available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; MS preferred.
• 10–15 years of related work experience in NJ/NYC area.
• PE registration in NJ and/or NY.
• Experience with AREMA, AASHTO, IBC, NJDOT and Amtrak codes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee structural surveys of existing rail bridges, abutments, retaining walls, etc.
• Review structural survey reports, repair details, etc.
• Review structural design for bridge superstructure, abutments and foundations per AREMA/AASHTO/IBC codes.
• Prepare design calculations and engineering reports to verify structural design of bridges and foundations.
• Perform constructability assessments of proposed structural systems.
• QA/QC of design calculations and reports prepared by others.
• Provide construction support and field oversight during construction.
• Attend meetings, work with contractors, and perform site visits.
