Job summary

Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. Seattle seeks a senior-level Structural Engineer (Associate Principal) with 15+ years to lead structural investigations, diagnostics, detailing and rehabilitation projects from Pioneer Square.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Washington; SE licensure preferred.
Bachelor's degree or higher in civil/structural engineering; master's/PhD preferred.
Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience with problem-solving, condition assessment, failure investigation, analysis, and repair design.
Demonstrated business development and client relationship skills.
Excellent technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Project management, including client development, scoping, team assembly, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Technical leadership across investigations, design, analysis, repair and renovation projects.
Mentorship locally and company-wide on technical topics and career development.
Contribute to local practice development and company-wide objectives, client relationships, and knowledge-sharing.
