Job Overview:

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the design, analysis, and execution of complex structural engineering projects. Your expertise will be crucial in project success. Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design: Lead design and analysis of projects such as commercial buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with standards. Familiar with materials like wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, review work, and support professional development.
• Project Management: Oversee project teams, budgets, and schedules to meet objectives and deliver on time and within budget.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand needs, present solutions, and maintain relationships.
• Structural Analysis: Conduct analyses and simulations to optimize safety, performance, and efficiency.
• Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet all relevant building codes and regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to uphold high standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering
• PE license required

• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA Suite, AutoCAD); Revit experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of structural codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
