Job summary

SNC seeks a Structural Engineer III to lead design, analysis, and certification of advanced aerospace and defense structures. You will oversee testing, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with standards.

A Secret clearance is required, with hybrid office work and travel as needed. Responsibilities include directing metallic and composite structural work, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering on schedule within regulatory constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil or related field.
• 6+ years in structural engineering or related role.
• Advanced understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Experience with engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of CAE/engineering tools.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with static and/or dynamic analyses.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of advanced metallic and composite structures.
• Oversee development and execution of structural test plans.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and identify improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers on structural practices.
