Overview:
A leading engineering firm seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. This role involves diverse projects, including structural design and special inspections, with opportunities to develop expertise in demolition engineering. Candidates with 8+ years of experience and a PE license are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light-gauge materials.
• Conduct special inspections and produce detailed reports, ensuring IBC Chapter 17 compliance.
• Oversee structural assessments for safety and code adherence.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and coordinate with contractors, architects, and clients.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering and inspections.
• Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., RISA) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of IBC standards and building codes.
