Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

What You’ll Do
  • Join the Design Engineering (DE) Team responsible for data center design, construction support, and standards development.
  • Lead structural design efforts for colocation data centers across U.S. campuses, focusing on resilience and cost-effectiveness.

  • Drive development and evolution of design standards, processes, and equipment qualification.
  • Identify opportunities for design improvement and implement mechanisms for continuous innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, vendors, utilities, inspectors, and contractors.
  • Work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment that values creativity, speed-to-market, and quality.
  • Take ownership of tasks, mitigate risks, and support team members in a tight-knit engineering group.
  • Develop breakthrough structural engineering initiatives, leading the design and execution of industry-first solutions that set new standards.
  • Remote role with domestic travel expected to be less than 25%.

What We’re Looking For
  • Innovators & Builders – You see challenges as opportunities and thrive in uncharted territories.
  • High-Performance Thinkers – You have a relentless drive for excellence and a passion for pushing the envelope. You thrive in high-impact environments where execution is key.
  • Integrity-Driven Leaders – You operate with honor, responsibility, and purpose, recognizing that the energy you put out into the world will return to you.
  • Tech Pioneers – You understand the power of technology to change the world and want to be at the forefront of that transformation.
What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to research emerging technologies and develop innovative structural design solutions.
  • Strong experience with analysis/design tools and software including RISA 3D, Bentley Software, Bluebeam, Excel, Smartsheet, MS Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Procore.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with leadership and external partners.
  • Experience coordinating with AHJs, utilities, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams (MEP, construction, etc.).
  • Ability to identify and resolve design issues across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior engineers, shape team culture, and uphold high technical standards across the structural discipline.
  • Willingness to travel for site assessments, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings (less than 25% travel expected).
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 8+ years of combined design experience across large-scale and technically complex buildings, including data centers, mission-critical facilities, hospitals, educational institutions, and high-rise commercial towers.
