A multi-discipline engineering service provider in the metro region is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with the right background and offers the opportunity to advance into a department manager position. The firm emphasizes exceeding client expectations through careful project planning, design, and management. As the team grows, they seek a highly motivated engineer to contribute to their success.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from an NCEES-accredited university program
• Licensed Structural Engineer or Professional Engineer
• Registered Professional Engineer
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience in structural systems, design of industrial steel buildings, masonry structures, pipe racks/bridges, shallow/deep foundations, and construction practices
• Advanced knowledge of STAAD.Pro and Tedds
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications : NCEES Records in obtaining PE licenses from other states

• Develop calculations for safe, economical, and prudent structural designs
• Provide technical expertise within the discipline and department
• Schedule, organize, direct, and review structural department activities
• Review and check engineering designs, drawings, and project documents related to structural work
• Certify designs and drawings as required
• Maintain and upgrade standards and procedures for the structural department
• Function as Project Manager, Project Leader, or Senior Engineer on specific projects
• Collaborate with other department managers, clients, and contractors

Compensation and Benefits :

• Base salary ranging from $125,000 to $145,000 (negotiable based on experience and skills)
• 401(k) retirement plan
• PTO and holidays
