Northrop Grumman seeks a Structural Engineer to join the Sentinel AVE Loads & Environments team. You will apply structural dynamics analysis, modal transient studies, and MATLAB tools to predict loads, vibroacoustic responses, and test data for aerospace structures.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, collaboration across systems engineering, and experience with Nastran; it supports a 9/80 schedule and competitive benefits including education assistance and PTO.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance
• Ability to be screened for Enhanced Security Clearances
• Knowledge of structural dynamics analysis
• Experience with modal transient analysis in Nastran
• Experience with MATLAB for analysis
• Experience running static/dynamic structural problems
• Experience with CLA or multi‑body dynamics
• Experience with launch vehicle/spacecraft vibroacoustic analysis

Responsibilities

• Analyze loads/dynamics for Sentinel AVE Loads & Environments
• Perform data evaluation and comprehensive testing
• Deliver innovative solutions advancing structural dynamics for Sentinel Program
