Job summary

Victaulic seeks a Senior Structural Designer to join the Corporate Engineering - Piping Movement Design Team at its Easton, PA headquarters. You will create steel and concrete layouts, develop connection details, and produce shop drawings to support piping movement design across projects.

You will collaborate with engineers, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated drawing sets, resolve design conflicts, and maintain schedules from kickoff through submittal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of structure-related drafting experience.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary construction documents and drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel and concrete structural layouts and connection details using AutoCAD and BIM (Revit).
• Develop and modify MEP support structure designs and steel shop drawings based on engineers' markups.
• Review multidisciplinary construction drawings and identify clashes and incomplete information.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to complete well-coordinated drawing sets.
• Prepare simple structural connection design calculations for submittals.

The Corporate Engineering - Piping Movement Design Team develops the structural drawings and connection details that support piping and MEP systems across Victaulic project sites, making this team a critical link between engineering design and field installation.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for a Senior Structural Designer to join our Corporate Engineering team at Victaulic's Global Headquarters in Easton, PA. In this role, you'll prepare steel and concrete structural layouts, connection details, and shop drawings that support piping movement design across Victaulic project sites. You'll work closely with engineers, clients, consultants, and contractors to coordinate multidisciplinary drawing sets, resolve design conflicts, and keep projects moving efficiently from kickoff through submittal.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN

• Prepare steel and concrete structural layouts and connection details using AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) software
• Develop and modify MEP support structure designs and steel shop drawings based on engineers' markups
• Review and organize multidisciplinary construction drawings received from clients, consultants, and company contacts
• Identify clashes, conflicts, and incomplete design information across construction drawing sets
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers and contractors to complete well-coordinated structural drawing sets
• Manage and update drawing templates and the library of details and components for efficient, accurate project submission
• Prepare simple structural connection design calculations for inclusion in submittal packages
• Support project reviews, kickoff meetings, customer contact, and other job control functions
• Multitask across ongoing drafting projects and optimize workflow to meet deadlines

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum of 10 years of structure-related drafting experience
• Understanding of multidisciplinary construction documents and drawings (structural, mechanical, architectural, plant/facility)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for the full benefits package described above.
