Job summary

Hatch is seeking a highly motivated Structural Designer in Tampa, FL to join their Project Delivery Group. You will develop 3D models and generate fabrication-ready drawings for civil structures, including bridges and walls, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on multi-discipline projects.

The role requires extensive Bentley software experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior designers in a fast-paced environment at Hatch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of 3D structural modeling experience using Bentley products (Aecosim/Open Building, MicroStation).
• Ability to function independently within a multi-discipline team.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a wide range of civil structural projects (bridges, walls, dams, culverts, pumps).
• Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings for fabrication.
• Produce detailed drawings and documents; coordinate with other designers and project managers.
